This is a PowerPoint presentation for numbers 0-9. This resources works brilliantly as a whole class activity as it allows everyone to see clearly how numbers are formed correctly. This presentation can be used as a lesson starter or even during a parent workshop when discussing the importance of correct letter formation.

Number Formation 0-10
Number formation mats 0-10.
Laminating them will mean children can use whiteboard pens when practising.
These mats work really well as play dough mats.
Number formation homework 0-5, 6-10, 0-10! Differentiated homework!
Number formation 0-9 cards. Again, if you laminate them the children can practice number formation using dry wipe pens.
Number formation bookmarks 0-10- Let your children trace the numbers then laminate these bookmarks for them to take home!
You also get a number formation PowerPoint that works perfectly as a lesson starter. Using it on the IWB will allow your children to see how numbers are formed correctly.

Watch the animals appear one by one and listen to the sounds they make!
Press the spacebar for the addition sentence to appear. The animals are standing on different coloured mats and the numbers in the addition sentence are matched to these colours to help children understand it better. So if there are three ducks on a green mat and 2 ducks on a blue mat then the number 3 will be green and the number two will be blue. Take a look at the pictures to see what the PowerPoint looks like.
